Thanks for the idea. As a replacement for this feature try to use the DB Search view in version 9.0. Type "random" text for the partial font name to search, and FontExpert will display fonts for your search criteria.

FontExpert prints the samples with the font size you select in the program. For example, when you choose the "Selected Fonts - Text Samples" report in Report Settings, FontExpert uses the text sample text and the font size you selected on the Text Sample toolbar (on this picture: 22 pt).

FontExpert doesn't install fonts without explicit user's command, while Windows does. In the case Windows on it's start up finds fonts in the Windows\Fonts folder, it installs those fonts.
