It is possible to filter fonts by character set in the Files view.

Select Files view, browse for your fonts, and select desired character set (e.g. Cyrillic) in the combo box on the main toolbar (by default this combo box displays "All*" ).

Yes, it is easy to implement in FontExpert Setup, which could add a FontExpert shortcut to Start/All Programs/Startup menu. Actually, any user already can add this short cut to Startup menu manually. Yes, I understand that you mean preview of fonts by a one click, and I also mean the same. Expanding contents of a folder (by one-click selection) will automatically display all fonts (in selected group) in Font Faces view. (Should be implemented in the following release of FontExpert.)
