"Pre-Alphabetize" Worklist?

I have a large worklist (10K+ fonts) and each time I open I perform a sort to alphabetize the list. I wish there were a way to save this info into an "index" file of some sort so that the sort would not need to be performed each time I open the program. This would enable me to open the worklist and immediately search for fonts in the list without waiting for the font information to be "read" each time.
