Hi, thanks for the answer. No it's when reinstall from backup, then I get errors. And it's proved that 1 file is missing in the backup zip

Old backup ZIP file is missing inf file

Have struggeling with the backup function now in almost 2 month without getting it to work in any of my Windows 10 pc:s. Wonder if someone else get it to work??

Fonts stop working in user account 2 same pc

Hi. This has worked since I installed FontExpert. I manage "FE" in useraccount 1, and it's here all fonts are installed. When switching to useraccount 2 the fonts still works here and you could see them in the Windows font folder. But now suddenly it don't works anymore, and I can not see the fonts ...

Hi dirk, I'm also doing workarround. I'm just deactivating all fonts in FontExpert before closing Windows. Then activate when started up. Works for me until we get the expected update from either Proxima or Windows... but seams to take time... :roll:

Now when cleaning up the ttf library the backup size is 720mb. Reduced from 75.000 fonts to 25.000.

I' now re-organizing the fonts in FontExpert. Mostly because of the failing backup function. I'm removing almost all group and make this with the "Tags" instead... so maybe something good will endup?

OK... sorry did not see that search function from beginning. Shall look into that. Though it would be more natural if you had a search button in the "Tags" pane. Hi... because the notice that there are a limitation for how many fonts you can apply in a group (500) It would be good if you can have the "Tags" setting as a quick search. Just make it possible to check one or more of the tags and then click search. This way I for example don't have to use so many...

Hi stevecop, noticed to that when installing the problem fonts directly to Windows font folder they worked... but gets messy with a lot of fonts :)
I'm hoping that Windows comes with a solution in update. Only solution for me.

New problem. The more I admin and maintenance in FontExpert the slower it gets. I am erasing fonts all the time, ttf substituted with otf... but in general decreasing the amount. Has erased about 20.000 fonts. But the software gets slower when updating and sorting fonts to "Groups". More and more of...

Hi... don't know what you mean with this: "Windows Defender Security Center settings are set by default (Cloud-based protection is off, App and Browser control is Off)."

Please... getting real frustrated by this issue... ??? Must be able to do backup and restore. Now I have admin a lot in FontExpert, and backuped. Want to restore into my laptop!!!
This must be a very important bug to fix... Must be able to restore from backup...
