Re: Plugin for MS Office
FontExpert internally keeps a list of required font faces that are important for Windows, such as Segoe UI used in GUI, Arial used by many programs, and some other fonts. And FontExpert shows warning if user tries to uninstall important or required font. It does not allow to uninstall these fonts. (...

Re: Missing Fonts Loader plug-in may stop working (InDesign)
New plug-in does not create XML file with font list (this XML file contained a list of fonts used in the INDD document as a copy). The plug-in search for the font using so called PostScript name property even for OpenType fonts (as it is used by InDesign), by Family Name or by Full name. Please use ...

Re: Plugin for MS Office
FontExpert does not provide a tool that automatically removes rarely used fonts in system list, but there is a window where you can find some tips on the origin of the font. Where did it come from - from Windows system installation or from MS Office. Tools | Show Installed Fonts... See "Known F...

Re: Fonts groups using links
FontExpert now supports Font Groups as virtual folders containng links to fonts in font Library.
So each font in a group is actually a reference to a font in Library.
Also you can work with physical folders using My Collections (similar to Groups in old versions).

Re: Tags
You are right, I confirm. If you assign a tag (e.g. category) to a font in some folder and then try to search for this font using the tag, FontExpert does not show it in search results. But you can find it if you attach folder to My Collections. FontExpert searches in: 1) [x] Library 2) [x] My Colle...

Re: How to refresh?
FontExpert shows fonts recently added to Library in the Font view.
See "Recently Added" node:
https://proximasoftware.com/fe/help/fonts.htm#library
After you added fonts to Library (or Groups) the fonts, the items should appear also in "Recently Added" node.

Re: Latest available FontExpert 2020 refuses to start in Windows 10 64 bits
Thank you for information. We need some time to investigate the issue. We probably need to create a special build which will clarify the reason why the executable is not starting on your comluter. We will contact you by e-mail when we are ready.
