pdf weirdness
here is a pdf I just produced via Acrobat 7.0...the FontExpert Preview looks fantastic, but as you can see from the PDF there's just way too much weirdness (fonts being cut off, all i's being displayed etc.) www . astrid . ca / download / 3000_fonts.pdf (it's about 5MB) btw, ALL of the fonts in this...

there was another issue when trying to print to PDF with some other utilities: some fonts carried licensing issues, and Acrobat would halt on multiple errors...but I will try with FontExpert on monday. It sounds like a 3rd party pdf printer is the real solution

a few more notes
a couple of more notes: 1. adding line breaks _directly_ in the text sample field is not possible, however, I found that creating the sample I want in notepad (line breaks and all) and then pasting that into the field works perfectly 2. for me, the issue with the line breaks only really became evide...

Printing to Adobe PDF virtual printer - fix
just a note... love font expert and was hoping to export (print) font catalogs out to PDF for backup/archive. Alas, printing to a PDF cause FontExpert to crash, at least with Acrobat Pro 7.0.

Great software!...I have a question (or possibly a feature request). I am attempting to print out a large number of fonts for a catalog. For me the perfect font sample would go as follows: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ 1234567890 !@#$%^&*()_+<>?~ This shows all of the cha...
