It's a key where Windows XP keeps a list of installed PostScript fonts. No fonts are installed in this case (in other words, Windows XP doesn't see any installed PostScript fonts). You can just install several .PFM & .PFB fonts using FontExpert or using Control Panel / Fonts window. New font rec...

Windows XP with SP2 (without ATM) doesn't have this problem. Probably ATM is not a key to solution, although it's installation has helped somehow in your case. Some additional information is needed, for example, the list and locations of postscript fonts on your computer. If you still need to find a...

We have not found a solution for this problem. In the case you change your Japanese regional settings to, for example, English US or English UK, the problem should disappear. (It is a kind of weak workaround, not a solution, of course.)
We are working on this problem.

This problem was fixed in FontExpert 2005 ver 7.0 Release 2. FontExpert doesn't include this message in it's resources ("The parameter is incorrect"), so this is a error displayed by some system component, system message 0x80070057 (WIN32: 87), -- 2147942487 (-2147024809). As it was repor...

In this case, pressing B button will select true bold typeface. I understand your question. It is possible t...

It is not a bug - you deleted parent folder containing font groups (called My Groups by default). (It is allowed to delete it after the confirmation question). After that, the root folder on the local drive became the parent folder for font groops. In FontExpert all group folders are regular folders...

How to enable GIF, JPG, TIFF, PNG formats in Export to HTML

FontExpert uses Microsoft GDI Plus library (gdiplus.dll) to support export to GIF, JPG, TIFF, PNG image formats. Windows XP includes GDI plus, and all image formats listed above are available in FontExpert by default. In other versions of Windows (Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows ME, ...) it is nee...
