Re: Old backup ZIP file is missing inf file

The latest versions does not have 1.2 GB limitation on backup ZIP file size. The Backup / Restore feature in version 16.0 was tested with a Library containing more than 20,000 fonts and resulting backup ZIP file size more than 3 GB.

Re: FontExpert 2019 Text Sample

In new version you can insert a special marker for new line character ("\n") in the edit box where you type the sample text (where you see "Enter your own text" prompt).
For example:
"My text\nThis is the second line\nThis is the third line"

Re: Trial Version install

Both version will work on the same computer. 1) I recommend you to try 64-bit version 16.0 and in this case it is not needed even to change the default installation path. (License key works for both 64-bit and 32-bit build and you only need...

Thank you! Your request has been added to our to-do list.

Re: Add To Group Box - list of groups is unsorted

We cannot reproduce this in the latest FontExpert 2018. Can you please send a screenshot with unsorted group items in Add to Group... window to support(at)proximasoftware.com? Which version of FontExpert you use (please see in Help/About... window)?

Re: Feature Request FontExpert

Unfortunately, users cannot guarantee to FontExpert that they always will keep font collection on a fast drive. User collections can be on a flash disk or on a network drive. Another reason is that user folders are considered a place where user other software can change folders and fonts. So the fol...

Re: Old backup ZIP file is missing inf file

We have found that this may happen because the file size exceeded ~ 1.2 GB and the information file (backup.inf) was not added to backup ZIP file. We work on this issue. To recover the backup ZIP: (1) Make sure the backup ZIP includes backup.inf file in the root. If your ZIP file does not include ba...
