Correct symbol for TTF and OTF files

Post by Bluesman »

Hi since I had some issues with this... maybee a good idea to suggest that generated Truetype fonts shall have the right symbol in lists and previews, the same for Open Type Fonts. I use OTF for my graphic production and the TTF for my Webdesign. Since all get mixed in the library and when searching you cant see which is which. Several of the fonts I have same for the both technichues and choosed wrong in the setting of FontExpert.

Gracias

Do you mean a thumbnail image generated for font preview in the Main view?
Although OTF and TTF versions of the same font may have similar thumbnail preview image, but you can distinguish font type by icon ("TT" for pure TrueType font, green "O" for OT/TrueType font, red "O" for OpenType/PostScript font).

Ok, then it makes more sence to me. Was a little confused because the fonts that turned into the green icon had only the truetype symbol in my design softwares. But then I know. Thanks.
