I'm trying out Font Expert because I need to get some fonts ready so I can use the Missing Font Loader in Adobe Illustrator.
I've looked at the documentation and tried to figure it out, but with no success. I need to figure out if this will actually work right away so I really appreciate getting some help.
I need the steps I need to get a font, say Calibri, ready for the Missing Font Loader API.
Thanks in advance!
Roger

Re: Help for newbie
Automatic activation/deactivation is supported by FontExpert and you also
need to install special plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS2, CS3, CS4, CS5 (not
supported yet (on July 31, 2012): Adobe InDesign CS5.5 and CS6) and Adobe Illustrator CS5.
1) Install FontExpert
2) Install plug-in for InDesign or Illustrator
http://www.proximasoftware.com/fontexpert/plugins
3) Also, you must add the fonts being activated to any folder within
FontExpert Groups root folder (to any subfolder on any level).

Re: and identify a font from an image
how do I identify a font from a png image, gif or jpg?
Re: Help for newbie
FontExpert font manager does not have a feature to identify fonts from an image sample. Some time ago was an application with the same name (FontExpert) that identified fonts.

Plug-ins for Adobe InDesign CC 2017 and for Adobe Illustrator CC 2017 are now available.
